The number of mobile phone users (globally) in 2017 is forecast at a staggering 4.77 billion. There are a number of important design decisions to be made by organizations when developing
learning for the workforce:
1. Ergonomics of the Design: Consider how people hold their devices, placing content for optimum stability.
2. Content Creation: Rework images and graphics to make the content work on smaller screens or suit users learning on the move.
3. MicroLearning: Break the content down into small chunks to satisfy the need for just in time learning.
4. Consider that there are Different Learning Styles: Engage learners by using a variety of mobile-friendly formats e.g. video, podcasts.
