Overview
Time To Know provides a breakthrough solution for today’s one-to-one computing classrooms. Teachers use the interactive core curriculum and the digital teaching platform to manage all classroom activities and deliver a personalized curriculum to every student.
Teachers prepare students for high stakes tests without teaching to the test. Independent evaluations and scientifically based research have demonstrated positive, statistically significant results, including these findings from a two-year pilot program with 4th and 5th grade students:
- Improved teaching quality
- Better test scores across most measures
- Deeper understanding of concepts
- Improved learning environment with fewer disruptions
- Increase in student confidence, motivation, and enjoyment of core subjects
Interactive Core Curriculum
The Time To Know standards-aligned curriculum is presented to students through engaging Rich Exploration Applets—guided learning sequences that develop cognitive skills in a sequential manner.
Students learn in new and meaningful ways as they explore, experiment, and discuss real-world math and language arts concepts.
Planning Tools
Teachers can plan lessons using pre-defined lesson sequences or mix and match to create their own. Preparing lessons is made easy with content preview, lesson simulation, and differentiated instruction tools.
Real Time Classroom Management
Time To Know puts teachers in complete control— shifting effortlessly between group and individualized instruction, launching and switching activities on each student’s computer or the whiteboard, and intervening promptly as needed.
Assessment Tools
Time to Know provides robust summative and formative assessment and reporting—recording and analyzing every action to give teachers an in-depth view of student progress even before tests are given. Alerts during class permit rapid intervention.
Collaboration Tools
Students can send their work to the teacher or to the shared Gallery for peer review, collaborative work, and class discussion. Teachers can facilitate large, small, and whole class group work, as well as individualized instruction.
